Paddle shifter extensions
Install, and subsequent removal.
After living with these for a few weeks, I did NOT like them, as they seem to be in the way more than they were helpful.
The adhesive holding them on was great! Which meant paddles had to be removed from wheel to “uninstall” (last 3 photos).

Lowering Springs & Wheel Spacers (H&R)
“Stance”… yep, it matters.
A very subtle lowering (1.5” on H&R springs) and a subtle widening (20mm / 3/4” on H&R hub centric wheel spacers). You can see the actual width of the spacers in the photos here.
In essence, the lowering reduces the gap between tire and fender well. A cleaner appearance. Those who will argue about the “4x4” and “off road” intentions of the range rovers need to understand, I have another 4x4 on the ranch for those emergencies (I’ve never used the 4x4 in the last 10 years). We get snow 2 times a year at most, and it’s rarely over 3”. 😆 I can handle that in a front wheel drive Honda Civic, much less a 1.5” lowered all time 4wd Range Rover.
Regarding the widening…. Read on:
The lowering is more obvious than the widening wheel spacers. However, The spacers push the side wall of the tires / wheels to more flush with body (fenders) of the vehicle.
Keep in mind, 98% of folks will never even notice these two modifications. But I’ll know. They also make the ride more stable and reduce body roll around corners.
A fun little story on the stance of the Evoque. The designers of the Range Rover Evoque are actually quoted as saying (paraphrased here, and remember, these are their words, not mine), “A large section of our target audience with the Evoque will be soccer moms. We need to pull these wheels in a bit (20mm) to reduce the amount of curb rashes they’ll inevitably achieve when dropping of their kids to wherever.”
Yep, so, let’s push those wheels back out to where they’re supposed to be. I’m not a soccer mom.
The vehicle now looks as the original designers intended: Awesome!

Gearbox factory reset
No images but a wonderful DIY modification/ fix they should make more easily accessible.
Prior to reset, it would jerk like a bull as the vehicle downshifted during braking. 2 times at around 35 mph and again at 30 mph.
This simple reset smoothed it perfectly.
